PROLAT GOES TO SIFNOS!

PROLAT GOES TO SIFNOS! Image

Sifnos has a long-standing tradition in pottery and cooking, as it is the birthplace of Nikos Tselementes, the most influential Greek chef of the 20th century. The island is famous for the architecture of its settlements, characterized by snow-white houses and combinations of rectangular shapes arranged around cobbled streets with carefully whitewashed joints that create a most impressive diversity. The architectural office KORDAS Architects, responsible for the design and renovation of a residence in Camares, cooperated once again with PROLAT in a challenging project with the goal of combining the creation of clean architectural lines with the preservation of traditional features. The white LavaPlaster finish used by PROLAT in all interior areas, including the living room, the sitting room, the fireplace, kitchen countertops and all bathroom surfaces, has turned the house into a delightful home for its owners and lent it the appeal of a truly ‘unique’ character.
